About Julia Rion

To me painting a picture is like  escaping into another world.

Surreal Art it is a world where anyting and everything is possible. I was born in 1966.

My first real appearance in the spotlight came in 1998.

The exhibition in Stockholm galleri Bjurman, was a success.

One of the biggest news paper in Sweden, Svenska Dagbladet, published a photo of my paintings.

Ever since, I have my own studio in Helsingborg. 

For the time being, I'm working on some new ideas that will form a big exhibition in the future.

As an artist you mustn't be afraid to exceed and use the palettes loudest colors in order to convey a message or a thought.

Music and life are my major inspirations.

As an artist you are at your best in your fifties or sixties, so I rather look forward to growing older.

Education:

1981-1985  Art Institute LNAM, hold a Master of Art 1985 - Bachelor of Art History -University in Kiev (1983-1985).
